"I ain't gone say it again. Getcho shit together before we have a problem boy." Xzander's father kept a tight grip on the back of his neck. Xzander could smell the whiskey on his father's breath, but he would rather him be out here bullying him instead of his mother and sister.
A 10 year old Xzander stood with his father's rifle in his hands aiming at the corona beer bottles lined up on the roof of their all black '70 GMC truck.

"On my worst day I could shoot all 5 bottles in under a second, you'll never be as good as me boy." His grip grew tighter around Xzander's neck, and as much as he wanted to cry he knew it was the wrong move. His father didn't react well to emotions being displayed, so he never showed them. He did whatever he had to do to protect his mother and sister. "Now shoot and don't fuckin miss. You out here wastin' my time."

Xzander was already nervous, the tight grip around his neck and the smell of the alcohol on his father's breath made him nervous. Xzander pulled the trigger missing the first bottle and before he could even look at his father the empty bottle of beer he'd had in his hand was smashed over the top of Xzander's head. He pulled Xzander up by his shirt making him stand up.

"Xzavier stop!" Xzander's mom shouted as she came onto the porch with True behind her. She was tired of the way her son was being treated, she was tired of the family walking on eggshells living miserably because of him.

"Woman don't come tryina tell me how to raise my boy!" The slurring in his words made it clear he was drunk.

"Come in the house Xzander-"

"I ain't say he could go in, you got yo child from yo first marriage this one is mine Bitch." He hissed making his way toward her. She'd put True behind her backing back into the house.

Xzander ran into the house after he'd heard a loud smack. His father was now standing with a gun pressed up against his sister's head, "You want yo mama or yo sister?" His father asked.
