Autorenporträt
Voary Velonjara is a medical doctor and a multidisciplinary and self-taught artist. She founded a nonprofit organization called IZA which aimed to tackle youth drug addiction issue with performing, visual and creative art. In 2018, she illustrated her first picture book to promote maternal health in Collaboration with the Women's Health Institute. Since then, she is committed to promoting health and social change through picture books. She is especially dedicated to Children Depression as she experienced it herself at an early age, and because depression is encountered by youth she counsels.
