Della Duran is a registered nurse. She resides in Colorado with her husband and three grown children. She has eight grandchildren. Della has been a registered nurse for thirty years working as a Trauma nurse. She is certified as a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider, a Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider, Adult Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, Trauma Nurse Core Provider. She is trained as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner providing examinations of sexual assault survivors, gathering evidence and court testimony. Her memberships include Colorado Nurses Association, International Association for Forensic Nurses, and Emergency Nurses Association. Della Duran is a Certified Medical Legal Death Investigator through the Colorado Coroner's Association. She served her community as the Huerfano County Coroner, which is an elected position, for sixteen years. As former Coroner she was responsible for investigating every death in the community. She loves to write about her life experiences.
