The missions earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and 14 Air Medals. His civilian flying was for the largest oil service company in the world, which had Dick Cheney as the CEO for five years. World-wide flying was required, which gives perspective and philosophy of foreign cultures, countries, and governments. Flying duties included pilot, senior captain, and chief pilot. Bob's background includes BS, MA, and MBA degrees, and his flying certificates include Airline Transport Pilot, ATP, instructor certificates, type ratings, and air traffic control certificate.
