Autorenporträt
Bob Dowell, PhD, and author of What Makes America Great describes the book as a narrative summary based on his findings garnered from an extensive review of America's past as revealed in its historical and literary documents. The motivation for the book, he adds, was hearing the incessant 24/7 inflammatory attacks on President Trump who, in the 2016 presidential election, rode into the Whitehouse on the campaign slogan "Make America Great Again." Many of the attacks not only demean the President, but America as well. The steady diet of invective, especially the bitter partisan attacks by members of the U S Congress, is doing irreparable damage to the country. America is better than that, much better! Dr. Bob hopes that What Makes America Great will help dispel the current damaging invective by presenting a celebratory narrative of America's greatness. "To accommodate reader convenience," he says, "I have kept the narrative succinct-as the book's small size confirms-so that it can be read in one sitting should time demand."
