Steve must come to terms with his new life, no longer from the height of opulence as he did before his failure, but now knowing firsthand society's abandonment of the poor and the socially 'invisible.' Castaño-Bedoya's novel recreates the lives of those who endure the difficulties of existence under the failure of the Constitution, and who clamor for their universal right to live without fear.

William is an exceptional American writer who eloquently highlights the unique experiences and struggles of humanity. He was born in Armenia, Colombia, and raised in Bogotá. He studied Marketing and Advertising at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. In the 1980s, he immigrated to the United States and became an American citizen. He currently resides in Coral Gables, Florida. After working in marketing for decades, William decided to become a full-time writer in 2018. His writing is known for its profound and experiential style. He delves into the intricacies of human existence, exploring themes such as social injustice, complacent conformity, and the struggle for survival. His works include "We the Other People - The Beggars of the Mercury Lights," "The Galpon," "Flowers for Maria Sucel," and "Ludovico's Monologues."
