Petr Kopecký is lecturer in the Department of Politics at Sheffield University and research fellow in the Department of Political Science at Leiden University. His previous publications include Parliaments in the Czech and Slovak Republics: Party Competition and Parliamentary Institutionalization (Ashgate: 2001)., Cas Mudde is lecturer in the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Antwerp-UFSIA, Belgium. He has written extensively on extremism and democracy, including The Ideology of the Extreme Right (Manchester University Press: 2000).
