Autorenporträt

SANIEL BONDER was born in New York City in 1950 and spent his boyhood in North Carolina and Tennessee. A Harvard B.A. in Social Relations and an Honorary National Scholar, he has authored a dozen spiritually oriented books, including teaching works such as Healing the Spirit/Matter Split, Great Relief, and Waking Down, and a novelized play, While Jesus Weeps: Conversations in the Garden of Gethsemane. But he¿s never enjoyed writing any book more than Ultimaya 1.0! After completing a two-decade quest for spiritual awakening, with both Western and Eastern trainings, Saniel began teaching in 1992. The innovative, uniquely democratic approach he pioneered, ¿Waking Down in Mutuality,¿ has helped hundreds of everyday people embody inner peace and express their greater purpose in life with authentic integrity. While remaining centrally active in the growing international Waking Down network, Saniel and his wife Linda Groves-Bonder are now co-founding Human Sun Institute to help ¿awaken and empower leaders for the Third Millennium.¿ They are also co-authoring a major new book, The Human Sun: Radiant Gateways to Your Awakening, Wholeness, and Unique Purpose (forthcoming 2012). They were both founding members of American philosopher Ken Wilber¿s Integral Institute. Saniel is an avid mid-handicap golfer, plays flutes, and blogs on ¿The Spirit/Money Split¿ at the acclaimed business website Good Business International, www.good-b.com. He and Linda teach internationally. They live near Sonoma, California, with their cat Hercules, surrounded by sun-drenched hillsides, vineyards, flowering plants, and hundreds of wild birds that Linda loves to feed.
