At the tender age of Eighteen, the author survived a head-on collision when a drunk driver failed to stop at an intersection and collided with him head-on.

The force of the impact caused the dashboard to be pushed further back into the cab, causing the steering wheel to collide with his face. Instantly knocking him unconscious. The force of the impact was so great that it bent the steering wheel, embedding it an inch into the dashboard.

Lucky to be alive, they rushed him to the hospital and into an operating theatre where they strategically reassembled all the broken bones in his face. After the emergency operation, they placed him in ICU and into an induced coma. The impact caused the author to suffer a Traumatic Brain Injury.

The following years were pure hell for his family, and after many operations, he made a full recovery.
