So, I decided to write a book focused on God's glorious grace, rich mercy, everlasting love, exquisite holiness, radiant life, redemptive power, eternal life, steadfast faithfulness, immutable truth, precise justice, and terrifying wrath.

It would be a book that would strengthen their love for God the Father, mature their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and increase their trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. After all, the foundational purpose of our Christian life is to know God in a personal relationship and to honor Him and serve Him.

The book you are about to read is the result of much prayer, much study, much writing, and much love.

FREDERICK FERRELL BUCKELS was born and raised in Southern California. He received his education at Biola University, Talbot Theological Seminary, and Trinity Theological Seminary. Dr. Buckels' extensive ministry as a senior pastor includes five independent churches extending from California to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, Washington. During the early years of his pastorates, Dr. Buckels organized and directed junior age camps financed by The Gospel Foundation of Southern Califonia. These camps were at Acorn Lodge in Wrightwood, California.
