Prior to his network marketing journey, John was a high school biology teacher and aspiring college basketball coach who chose to step away from teaching and coaching as his young family was growing. He entered the business world, where, in his late thirties, he owned a company that INC magazine recognized as one of America's 500 Fastest Growing Companies and was twice named one of Michigan's 100 fastest growing companies. As a result, he was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year in Michigan. John was drawn to network marketing out of his desire for time, money, and choice freedom. His early network marketing experiences were with sporting goods, electronics, and a personal development company, which laid the groundwork for a long-term journey with a legal subscription company. Through applying the network marketing processes he learned, John built a team of well over ten thousand associates and ongoing residual income. Working with a large team helped him develop numerous skills and provided him with a platform to teach, coach, speak, and train. These experiences helped shape John's appreciation for collaboration with people of diverse backgrounds. He has worked with men and women, ages 18-80, with varied educational and income back- grounds and of different races, religions, and lifestyles. John's belief is that network marketing, when done properly, is a vehicle for making a difference in the lives of others, while allowing both time and money freedom, skill development, and personal growth. This is what John refers to as the Tao of Network Marketing. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and dog, and children and grandchildren nearby.
