This book is a contemporary version of "The Parable of the Sower and the Seed". Though four sisters grew up in a God-fearing household, their lives depict what type of soil they fell on. Brenna, the oldest sister, falls on the hard path and blatantly denounces Jesus. Sophia, the second oldest, gets emotionally caught up in the wiles of a false prophet. Paula Adamson was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. She earned her B.S. degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. She is currently a learning lab coordinator and specials teacher. She is a published children's author. She is actively involved in her church and she has zeal for the Lord which she likes to express in her writing.
