When tug pilot Ed Ferald returned from his latest trip to Saturn, he brought back a group of researchers and an old friend to a heroes' welcome on Mars. Ed didn't know he also brought back a hidden, deadly menace, an alien pathogen discovered from Saturn's moon Enceladus, and brought back to Mars by Earth-based terrorists. The pilot faced death before, but as the extent of the threat became known, Ed became haunted by the realization that, purely by luck, he would survive, but many of the Martian colonists would not.

The Silent Siege of Mars offers a layered plot revealed in fragments and unexpected twists. Yet with the aid of new and unexpected allies, they close in on the perpetrators. But will it be in time?

The third book of the Martian Sands Series offers suspense, touches of humor, and even pathos. And just when you think the plot is resolved, there's still another twist to uncover.

Or maybe two.
