Autorenporträt

Robert Davis has been writing for over 20 years and had his first stories published in independent press magazines in the late 1990s.

His debut novel, 'A Lust for Lead', was published in 2009 and has been downloaded by more than 10,000 readers. It is the first book in his 'Legend of the Devil's Guns' series. In a review in Black Static magazine, Peter Tennant wrote: "Davis is to be commended for taking the time to give all the competing gunfighters separate personalities instead of inflicting a job lot of stereotypes from Shreddies R Us on the reader... The gunfights are edge of the seat stuff."

The second book of the series, 'A Desire for Damnation', is also available.

Davis likes to blend genres, and his 'Dragon Seas' series combines elements of the modern technothriller and horror genres, and embraces the changing climate of the world of the 21st century, while his 'Sword of Saint Georgas' series blends sword-and-sorcery with Gothic vampire horror, drawing upon the rich culture of traditional folklore.

He is committed to writing to a professional standard, and all of his stories undergo multiple revisions and proof-reading before being published. He is also committed to selling self-published stories at sensible, self-published prices.

Besides writing self-published stories, Davis has also written several commercial novels, which he continues to submit to literary agents and publishers. Some of the top agents in the UK have commented that they have enjoyed and admired his work.
