Weighing in at barely two and a half pound's, this author was born into a thunderous world. A cold barren waist land of crude convenience, a built up conglomerate of brick and mortar, wood, glass, concrete and slate, this was inner city, 1950s Liverpool near to the tough notorious area of Scotland rd (Scottie rd) a bedrock of working class effort, undefined, uncelebrated economic human endeavour. A conflagration of life, moving, breathing, existing, fighting, exhausting the limits of their identity. His schooling, due to his father and spells in and out of hospital, and near to death. Was not conducive to a life of learning. But he endeavoured to develop and grow, with help from a mother who spoon fed him Cod Liver Oil and remedies she thought best. Then a life in catering and becoming a qualified chef was a blessing that lasted 25 years. Lyric's and poetry became a pastime that blended into music. His accomplishments and academic pursuits were vast and well earned. He is also an Adult Education Teacher, and is trained in Martial Art's.
