Autorenporträt
Dr. Nicholas J. Hanna is the writer of this book of poems. Born in poverty, he rose to comfortable affluence by his own efforts. In 1970, he received his Ph.D. from Ohio University. A licensed psychologist, he practiced in his field for over forty years. Dr. Hanna taught counseling at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from 1970 - 2011, when he retired. He was always enamored by The Prayer of St. Francis and spent one year studying in the Order of the Franciscan Friars of Atonement. During his professional career, Dr. Hanna conducted workshops: Open Your Heart and Relationships With Fathers, both on the local and national levels, using the principles of St. Francis' spirituality. He continues to write poetry, is married and has two adult children and seven grandchildren. The author resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Daytona Beach, Florida.
