Autorenporträt
Richard L. Jacques, Ph.D. (Purdue University) was a Professor of Biology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, New Jersey and a Research Associate at the Florida State Collection of Arthropods in Gainesville, Florida. Fie taught both entomology and zoology at Fairleigh Dickinson University for the past fifteen years and was an assistant dean for the College of Science and Engineering. He was a member of the Entomological Society of America, Coleopterist's Society, New York Entom ological Society and was a Registered Professional Entomologist. He was the co-author (with Ross H. Arnett, Jr.) of Simon & Schuster's Guide to Insects and Insect Life: A Field Entomology Manual for the Amateur Naturalist. He was born in New Jersey (1945) and died January 1, 1988.
