Our entire lives we have been led to believe that fear, along with trauma and suffering are negative conditions to be avoided, which is why most of us become victim to their effects. It is this belief that has kept so many of us rooted into a life of mediocrity and left success, joy and fulfillment in the hands of a select few. Using psychology and neuroscience, this revolutionary book will shatter these myths and more about the human mind to reveal the tools to unlock the limitlessness of the human potential. Autorenporträt
Akshay Nanavati has mastered the art of embracing fear by overcoming a life of drugs that killed two of his friends, fighting the war in Iraq with the US Marines, climbing mountains all over the world, cave diving, skydiving, quitting a job to spend one month dragging a one-hundred-ninety-pound sled three-hundred-fifty miles across the second largest icecap in the world, and building a business from the ground up. After coming home from the war, Akshay pursued a master's degree in journalism from the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications to tell a different story about the human experience than the one traditionally told. He has been featured on television and in print, including on CNN, in Forbes, the Huffington Post, and Psychology Today.
