Her restaurant has been featured in PMQ Pizza magazine and received the Excellence in Business award from her hometown's Chamber of Commerce. Passionate about giving back, she spearheaded an event to help combat hunger within her community. She also directs and plans the Corn Queen Pageant at the annual Corn Festival. An animal lover, especially cats, she strives to help animals live happy, healthy lives. She lives in Indiana.
