I read many story books to my two children while they were growing up and I would watch thier eyes light up as the stories took them to far away places. I always dreamed of writing a book that would do the same for other children. Whenever I looked at trees I always saw shapes (creatures) people would make fun of me for this and call me childish. However those shapes I saw help me to create this story. I live in a little country community of north Georgia. I am a single woman who raised my two children by myself and worked many jobs to give them a better future. My children are now grown and I spend my time off from work writing and taking care of my grandchildren - who are the "Love of my Life".
