Thabo impregnated his girlfriend and start experiencing frustration that led them to a gangster called Scarface whom in the scrapyard, he is later to be known as Péro. The two boy's friendship is threatened when Péro favors jays instead of Thabo who knows everything about the streets.

Thabo runs to seek help from his uncle in Meadow Island when he is haunted by consequences. He dies in accident. Jay poisons the gang leader with illegal chemical from the university.

The poison container if evidently found at jay's home inside the garage. Jay gets arrested and taken to isolation prison where he waited for court trial. Jay negotiates a deal that pend the fate of his freedom. He learns that Thabo is alive through his observation when Lesego disappears and got the trainee from the chemical store to follow the police vehicle, which belonged to Thabo's uncle.
