"Yeah, before Kevin."

 

"Over half of all marriages deal with infidelity at some point," Theresa continued. "Some studies show it's more like seventy-five percent."

 

"I don't plan on cheating on Kevin." Jenn's voice had gone cold, not from anger, but from fear.

 

"Who plans on cheating on their spouse?" asked Theresa rhetorically. She shook her head. "Anyway, we're just talking."

 

Jenn heard herself asking, "It sounded like you actually knew someone who did this sort of thing."

 

Theresa's smile was controlled. "I might."
