Information communication technology includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, mobile phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them. The size and nature of the marketplace for radio has enlarged significantly since 2000, with over 50 new stations coming on-air, with at least 10 of them streaming online for worldwide listeners In particular, there has been an increase in vernacular-language stations, and the proliferation of these stations reflects a push towards addressing the various interests groups in the country.
