Sonia Pilcer is the author of the cult classic Teen Angel (1978) and three other novels, as well as the often reprinted essay about the psychological scars of children of survivors, "2G" (1990). Many other essays and stories have appeared in The Forward, the Los Angeles Times, The Village Voice, and elsewhere. She lives in Hillsdale, New York, and in New York City.
