We are blessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. However, there are too many distractions in this world that lure us away from the presence of God. Yet in the midst of these distractions, noises, temptations, and falling away from the presence of God, we find grace and mercy in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary.¿

Such grace and mercy found me when I was born. Growing up, I was distracted by the things of this world. Yet, God in his mercy and grace, called me out of my sinful ways, saved me by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and chose me to be his servant in ministry.

" The Guidance of the Holy Spirit" is about how I became a Christian, being called into ministry, being led by the Holy Spirit in my life and in Pastoral Ministry over fifty years.

Sharing my story, I hope, will inspire readers to draw closer to God in their lives and to experience the joy of the presence of the Holy Spirit. This new experience begins with being Born Again.

Not only do I share my testimony but also I give guidance on how to be saved by the Grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, how to be baptized with the Holy Spirit to give you power to live for God and how to live a life pleasing to God.

Rev. Dr. Jackson Yenn-Batah is a graduate of the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta Georgia from where he received the Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Studies and Languages in 1998 and the Doctor of Ministry degree in 2001 with the highest honor.He is also a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler where he earned the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, the Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1983 and the Master of Science degree in Public Administration in 1984.Ordained a Deacon in 1972 and an Elder of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in 1976 in Ghana, Dr. Yenn-Batah has served in various positions in the Church as Pastor, Chaplain, Presiding Elder, Mission Supervisor from 1972- 1979 and 1986-1995. He also served the Christian Council of Ghana as Acquisitions Editor and Marketing Manager of Asempa Publishers from 1987-1995 before relocating to the USA.Dr. Yenn-Batah has done extensive mission work in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Germany and the United States of America.He is currently, the Senior Pastor at Wesley United Methodist Church in Arlington Texas in the USA.His published books include: " Intercessory Prayer: A New Model for Transformative Ministry", " A Brief History of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in West Africa 1958-1998", " Short Sermons from the New Testament" and " Short Study of the Old Testament".
