The Grant Writing and Funding Coach is a framework for you to present your project in a clear and confident style, establish a rapport with funders and succeed with your proposal. It reveals how individuals, non-profits, local governments, and community organizations build bridges with funders. Both traditional and non-traditional methods of funding are explored by an experienced entrepreneur and community leader. Griffiths helps readers find, apply for, and get grants. She also looks at various forms of crowd-funding and walks you through a crowdfunding campaign, as well as online auctions and other innovative ways of funding projects and organizations. Autorenporträt
FROM THE AUTHOR: "The idea for the book came from working with a few communities experiencing difficult economic and social challenges. I knew it was not necessary to hire a long-term grant writer (me-for a good consultant's sum) when there were people who, with guidance from a well-organized book, could do it themselves and gain from the success on a number of levels. I saw a need and wanted to provide clear, practical, step-by-step information that dispelled the 'higher mystery' myths about grant organization and writing. " Individuals can also use the book and Griffiths worked on a number of applications with artists and writers. This book has the potential to become a go-to for its unique personality. It's built upon premises that don't become obsolete or change with government funding and that appeal to a wide audience. Optimism, sincerity, good budgeting, and organization (and saying thank you) all lead to more funding potential!
