Produktbeschreibung
The magical world Alexandra Scarsdale visited in Colors in the Dreamweaver's Loom is in trouble. The fabric of Fate is in danger of unraveling, and it will only get worse as the Feast of the Trickster draws near, and that malicious goddess comes into her full power. The Weaver knows the Trickster must be stopped, but the only person capable of doing that is ZanAlexandra Scarsdale, a young college student whose life color is already woven into the Loom.
Five companiona Minstrel, a Swordswoman, a Shapeshifter, a Prophet, and a Heartmenderare sent to Earth to find Zan and bring her back to their world. The Trickster, aware of the plan, also goes to Earth to locate Zan and keep the Five from her. An intense and sometimes comic series of adventures ensues as the Five and the Trickster attempt to find their way among the strange people and customs of New England. The Five are helped by a group of Vermont teenagers, while the Trickster is aided by a Boston psychiatrist who thinks he's found his most challenging case. But the greatest contest is still ahead when Zan, once found, has to make a decision that could change the pattern of the Loom forever.
This satisfying sequel to Colors in the Dreamweaver's Loom is full of fascinating characters, climactic conflicts, and emotional entanglements. The idea of Fate being woven with various strands is a vivid image, and the struggle to keep this fabric from unraveling becomes an epic adventure.

Autorenporträt
I grew up in Rochester, NY, where I started school long before there were personal computers (much less cell phones). I discovered reading and books at a very early age, but it wasn't until I was in 5th Grade that it ever occurred to me to wonder about where all those amazing stories actually came from. (If I'd been asked where books came from, I would probably have rolled my eyes and said, "The library.") But once I figured out that someone had had to write down those stories I found so compelling, it was only a very short step to deciding that I could (and should) do that myself. I promptly started writing my very first book: The War of the Sun and the Moon the first book of a trilogy (I'd discovered Tolkien by 5th Grade, too); and I was off and running.

Now, many decades later, I live in an 1809 Greek revival brick house (which needed and is getting a ton of work!) in the city of Barre, VT, with my husband and one rather spoiled house cat. Though we haven't been at this address very long, the growing season is already looming large for gardening projects! In addition to my writing, I also spend inordinate amounts of time creating modern performing editions of 17th and 18th century musical works by composers most people have never heard of -- and then performing them with my Baroque trio, Cameo Baroque.
