So I used Higgenbotham's maps and in less than a day I found his cave. The cavern was spectacular and the Devil's Abyss stopped my heart. It may not be bottomless, it's damn close. I climbed down into this terrifying shaft and saw with my own eyes that all Higgenbotham had written was true….. but not the whole truth. Beyond the bones I discovered something worse than any nightmare he might have had, indeed something more terrible than any demons from imaginary hell.
