These issues are combined with the conflict between the dynasties. The participants of it - do not agree with the legal basis for the legitimacy of the ruling by Rurikids, the supporters of the deposed princes of Askold and Dire. There is a love line in the novel as well, with the bright fabulous coloration which did not have any success.
