Autorenporträt
The author is a Eighty-year-old retired police officer. He and his wife, Mary, have been married for forty-nine years. They have two daughters and six grandchildren. Born in the north-east of England, he spent most of his working life in the Midlands, in Birmingham. This book, which is dedicated to his daughters-Jane Louise and Sally Ann-is probably the result of reading stories to them and their children.
