Aleta Maree was raised on a farm in a small-town community in Washington State. She has a degree in business management and is an avid student of quality assurance, project management, operational controls, and continuous improvement. Aleta married her high school sweetheart over 32 years ago. They have two children that also live in the Tri-Cities area with their families. After working over 30 years at a government-run research and development laboratory, she decided that writing books was way more fun and retired in 2020 to continue her dream of authoring science fiction novels.
