Author Nikkia Daniels wrote this book to make her mother proud. The shock of her passing from an asthma attack in 2004 derailed the author's life for three years. Emotionally numb, life was a blur, and bad decisions followed. It took time to emerge from the depression and realize her mother would always be with her in her heart, and providing spiritual guidance. Writing this book would make her mother proud and happy.The book was also written for Nikkia's children. At times, providing for them was difficult and involved sacrifices. As they grew and developed distinct personalities, Nikkia imagined them as superheroes. They are the inspiration behind the story, and the story is a gift to last them a lifetime.
