She has been working in the book publishing industry for over 12 years and is the author of At Least It's Not Contagious, as well as numerous articles published in journals and newspapers including the Sydney Morning Herald's 'Good Weekend' magazine. She holds a Master of Arts in writing. She lives on a five-acre property in north west Sydney, where she has three horses, two dogs and one very patient husband.
