Fernando Santiago was born in Vitória in the State of Espirito Santo, Brazil, in 1978. He attended the Universidade de Brasília, where he graduated in Physical Education in 2001. In 2006, he finished his undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy at Uniplac, Brasília, Brazil. Since 2008, he has been the owner of the Clínica da Coluna, a physical therapy clinic, in the city of Brasilia and sees patients of all ages as well as professional athletes from a variety of sports. In 2010, Fernando was certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, given by the Mckenzie Institute International. He specializes in the treatment and prevention of back problems and other lesions in the musculoskeletal system. Also, he has given speeches at elementary schools, based on his book, "Stop the Circus! The Clown is Crooked!"
