Karon Luddy is the author of the award-winning novel, Spelldown,The Big Time Dreams of a Small-town Word Whiz published by Simon and Schuster, which also won the Parents' Choice Silver Award. Wolf Heart, her first poetry book, was published by Clemson University Digital Press. Her second novel Bewilderment of Boys was published in May 2014. It is the sequel to Luddy's first novel Spelldown.She teaches writing intensive classes at UNC Charlotte and also leads creativity workshops and writing retreats. Her poems, stories, and essays have appeared in various publications.
