Script from the year 2010 in the subject Didactics - English - Discussion and Essays, grade: 1,0, University of Tubingen (Seminar für Englische Philologie), course: Oral Communication II, language: English, abstract: All in all the speech should be serious and emotionally touching but in order to underline my point I was also trying to put some funny parts into it (as the short example part illustrates). [he holds up Marge's hand, to show her wedding ring] It symbolizes that she's my property, and I own her.< It took me some time to realize that Homer Simpson is no quotable authority, and that marriage is not as bad as I thought it to be. Actually, I am going to marry next summer... How can I take responsibility for that in front of myself? What has changed?
