Autorenporträt

Vincent Brook has a PhD in film and television from UCLA. He teaches media studies at UCLA, USC, Cal-State LA and Pierce College, and has authored or edited five books, most recently "Land of Smoke and Mirrors: A Cultural History of Los Angeles" and "Woody on Rye: Jewishness in the Films and Plays of Woody Allen" (both 2013). Born in Van Nuys, he has lived in Silver Lake with his wife Karen since 1978.
