She finds a multitude of treasures in the hollow of a tree, and accompanies Santa to the North Pole where she is treated to hot cocoa, and the chance to make angels in the snow. All these adventures occur before returning back home in time for dinner.

Autorenporträt

Dana Wand began writing stories as a way to entertain her children and grandchildren. She did not make her forty tales public until 2010, when she joined a writing group at Clackamas Community College. Since then, she has published stories in local papers and won online contests, giving her the necessary push to begin publishing. Shanie June was first published in 2012, followed by Dragon in My Closet and Other Scaly Tales in 2014. She is currently working on a historical novel and three children's books to be published soon. She lives with her husband in a log cabin, nestled in a wooded mountain setting.
