In writing Seven Words for the End of Your Journey, Christian Spoor brings together two loves of his life-caring for people in need, and exploring practical application of Biblical teachings. Serving as a pastor for 43 years, he earned a reputation as an empathetic listener who was faithfully available in times of distress. After retiring from pastoral ministry he spent six years as a hospice chaplain, supporting the terminally ill and providing bereavement services for their grieving families and friends.

These experiences led Spoor to discover new meaning in the last words of Jesus. He writes with refreshing insight about how Jesus's "Seven Words" are full of practical application as we come to the end of our earthly journey.
