My career has been helping young children overcome their learning difficulties. During this time I have had access to thousands of children's books. Many could touch your heart or brought feelings of joy, others captivated with their ideas and illustrations. Since my retirement from teaching, I finally have the time and resources to combine my experience and Fine Arts background to follow one of my lifelong dreams: Writing and illustrating a children's book of my own. Scootle Noodle is my 2nd book, and is very different from my first. This book came from all my years of searching for and developing methods of teaching children who have learning issues. The predictable children's book, is one of the most fun and successful ways to engage children in reading.
