Autorenporträt
Rita Taylor has been a keen knitter since childhood. She comes from a long line of tailors, dressmakers, knitters and crocheters. While living in Scotland she became interested in the traditional knits of that country, especially Fair Isles and Shetland lace and this led to an interest in the history of knitting in other areas of the world. She is passionate about all types of knitting and thinks it is important to continue to pass on the traditional skills to others.
