About the Author: Evangeline Lincoln Wollmar is a retired kindergarten teacher and professional figure skater. She has been farming organically in Maine for over a decade. Her farm and the loss of someone very special were the inspirations for this story. This is her second children's book. The first book was a story about her daughter titled The True Story of Skylar and Snickers, which celebrated a miracle that happened in Skylar's life. About the Illustrator: Jaime Lynn Parent is a twenty-nine-year-old mother to her darling daughter, Brenna Bee. She's a lifelong artist, musician, and baker. She has lived in Maine her entire life and is an avid forager, gardener, and herbalist. They dwell happily on a small farm with many kitties, puppies, and chickens.
