Jean-François Di Giorgio is a writer whose work has been published by numerous French publishers including Éditions Dupuis, Éditions du Lombard, Éditions Casterman and Soleil. It was on the Mygala series that he first worked with Frederic Genêt, and they joined forces once again for Soleil to create Samurai. Frederic Genêt trained at the Institut Saint-Luc and L'École Des Arts de Braine-L'Alleud. He has worked for a number of advertising agencies and magazines over his career, including Spirou. He joined Soliel in 2005 to create Samurai with his former teacher and friend, Jean-François Di Giorgio.
