Emma Donoghue is an Irish-born dramatist for stage, radio and screen, a novelist, and a literary historian, now living in Canada. Her 2010 novel Room was a Man Booker Prize finalist and has sold over two million copies worldwide; her screen adaptation was released at the end of 2015 and was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Adapted Screenplay. Donoghue's other books include The Wonder, Frog Music, Astray, The Sealed Letter, Life Mask and Slammerkin.
