Autorenporträt
Toni-Ann Schofield was born on a farm in Wichita, Kansas. She lived the simple life not knowing of anything but caring for animals and going to school. She loved to read and ended up getting a full scholarship to an Ivy League University. There she pursued studies in Romance Languages and Literatures and graduated with honors. After completing her degree, she did research for a number of years and then she started to write. When she wrote, she was inspired to focus on sex and the many nuances associated with it when she heard stories of men and women that had been deployed to serve their country. It was something that she was closely connected to as her own brother had served for years until he got injured by a sniper attack. Her book focuses on what happens inside the camp, when persons are of duty and the risks that they are willing to take to keep themselves happy.
