Imran Khan received his PhD from the Centre for Sustainability at the University of Otago, New Zealand. Dr. Khan has served as the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Jashore University of Science and Technology where he is also a Research Cell Advisors to the university. At present, he serves as an Editorial Board Member for the journal SN Applied Sciences and guest editor for an Engineering Topical Collection "Sustainable Energy Trends in the Developing Economies¿. He has served as reviewer for several reputed journals such as Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews; Energy, Sustainability and Society; Sustainability and has received an 'Outstanding Reviewer' award from journals such as Applied Energy, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Renewable Energy. Dr. Khan is a multi-disciplinary researcher focusing on energy security challenges and transitions toward a low-carbon and sustainable future. He is interested in exploring the interactions between technology, society, the environment, and the economy in relation to energy access and security.
