Pitzer Professor of Philosophy at Claremont McKenna College, California, USA, and author of: GOD, REASON, AND THEISTIC PROOFS, Edinburgh University Press, 1997 ENCOUNTERING EVIL (ed.), Westminister John Knox Press, 2001 CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHICAL THEOLOGY, Oxford University Press, 2006 DISPUTED ISSUES, Baylor University Press, 2009 He is shortly to retire, and his Festschrift was recently published by Notre Dame Press (see TOC in supporting material).
