I loved this book! Phoenix, the main character, is someone I identified with easily. He's hot tempered, quick witted and he is quick to react to situations. This book also had heavy suspense, intense scenes particularly as we get toward the end and the fight scenes. I also liked Phoenix and Abby's relationship; that was a draw for me to read this book as well. I enjoyed watching Phoenix grow and mature throughout the book. He began to be more aware of human feelings and emotions, which was interesting to read about. . -A Post ~~~ Elaine Calloway is originally from New Orleans and can still do a Cajun accent upon request. She writes paranormal romance for adults and paranormal fantasy books set in New Orleans, New York, and other iconic cities.
