António Augusto FERNANDES graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, and did his M.Sc. and Ph.D. at Cranfield University, UK.  António Augusto Fernandes is Professor Emeritus of University of Porto. He was President of the Mechanical Engineering Chapter of the Engineers Portuguese Society and his current research interests are focused on new product and service development and innovation management and women health bioengineering.
