He developed a passion for watching old movies, especially westerns and military stories based on true historical events. Play the Game is his first novel and is based on the personal journal and real-life tragedy of his great uncle, Thomas Neal Crowson.Joel lives with his one and only, Anna Beth, near Haughton, Louisiana.
